You’ll learn: Proper Measuring Techniques – Accurately measure the body and garments to ensure a perfect fit every time. Hemming & Garment Adjustments – Master essential alterations including hemming pants, skirts, and dresses with clean, professional results. Taking In & Letting Out Seams – Learn how to resize garments to improve fit while maintaining structure and balance. Fabric Handling & Machine Basics – Understand different fabric types and how to work with them using sewing machines and essential tools. Real-World Alteration Workflows – Follow step-by-step processes used in professional tailoring environments, from assessment to final press. ✔ Includes a comprehensive student workbook ✔ Weekly hands-on practice to build skill and confidence ✔ Guided final project to apply everything you’ve learned

Cancellation Policy
Before Your First Class El Zorro Tailoring Academy — Fall 10-Week Program What to Bring Students should bring: Sewing machine in good working order Power cord and foot pedal Basic sewing kit Fabric scissors Small thread snips Seam ripper Pins and/or clips Measuring tape Fabric marking tools Notebook and pen/pencil Any additional supplies identified by your instructor A detailed supply list will be provided to registered students before the first class. Class Location The Cottage Quilting 2000 Spall Road Kelowna, BC Parking & Arrival Parking is available in the on-site parking lot. Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before class to allow time to bring in your equipment, set up your sewing station and be ready when instruction begins. Class Schedule 10-Week Program One 3-Hour Evening Class Per Week Fall classes run from October through early December 2026. Your exact class night, start time and complete 10-week schedule will be confirmed with your registration. Tuition & Payment 10-Week Beginner Program: $600 Payment plan options are available. Your registration is confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received. Refund & Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made at least one week (7 days) before the first scheduled class are eligible for a refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course begins are not eligible for a cash refund. Instead, the amount paid will be issued as a course credit toward the next available El Zorro Tailoring Academy class. If El Zorro Tailoring Academy cancels the program, registered students will receive a full refund or may choose to transfer their registration to a future class. Missed Classes Your registration reserves your place for the complete 10-week program. Refunds or credits are not provided for individual classes missed by a student.
